Job summary

Leathermarket JMB is seeking a Service Charge Analyst within the Homeownership Team to oversee the accurate calculation, budgeting, and reporting of service charges across the organisation. You will collaborate with Finance, Property Services and operations to ensure transparent cost allocation and compliance.

You will prepare service charge budgets and statements, support financial management of communal works, and act as a point of contact for leaseholders/tenants on charge queries.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing service charge budgets and statements.
• Experience analysing financial data and resolving financial discrepancies.
• Experience working with stakeholders across finance and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting: review expenditures, forecast costs, collaborate with managers, assist annual budgets.
• Calculating service charges: apportion communal costs, prepare estimated/actual statements, lead on billing for service charge and major works.
• Compliance: ensure processes meet legislation, support Section 20 for major works and provide evidence for audits.
