Lookers Ltd – Blackpool Volkswagen is recruiting for a Service Advisor to join our busy Aftersales Team on site in Blackpool. 42 hours a week, Mon-Fri 8am-6pm with Saturdays on rota; £32k basic with OTE up to £38k.

You’ll be a team player with strong communication to build rapport with customers and colleagues. You’ll benefit from ongoing training, opportunities for progression, and a supportive environment within a major automotive retailer.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor in automotive Aftersales.
• Excellent communication and rapport with customers.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Experience with Kerridge/ADP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for our customers.
• Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories that will benefit the customer.
• Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, based on workload and call volumes.
• Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries.
• Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the time when a customers’ car is in the workshop.
• Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made.
