Job summary

Preston Volkswagen is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site.

Joining our team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will report to our aftersales manager and have opportunities for training and progression.

The role offers 42 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, one early finish weekly, Saturdays 8am-2pm on a rota basis) with a salary up to £38,000 (basic £32,000).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build rapport with customers.

Responsibilities

• Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for our customers
• Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories
• Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, based on workload and call volumes
• Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
• Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the time when a customers’ car is in the workshop
• Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made
