Job summary

Williams Motor Group is seeking a Senior Service Advisor in Bolton to lead the Service Advisor team while managing your own customer portfolio. The role combines strong customer service with leadership responsibilities and career progression within Williams.

The position offers a £34,000 basic salary with potential performance-related bonus, averaging 41 hours over five days with 1 in 4 Saturdays. A full-time Aftersales role within a busy workshop is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in automotive industry.
• Ability to lead and support other team members.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle more complex customer situations professionally.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive and team-focused approach.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Service Advisor team to maintain high standards.
• Manage your own customers and take ownership of more complex jobs.
• Greet customers and confirm service/repair requirements, collection times and payment details.
• Keep customers updated during the vehicle’s journey and gain approvals for extra work.
• Coordinate with workshop to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Prepare repair orders and update internal systems during the service process.
• Produce accurate invoices and charge for labour, parts and fluids.
• Resolve service or quality concerns quickly and professionally.
• Support department growth through excellent customer advice and follow-up.
