Oxoid Remel Microbiology is seeking a SEM & SEO Digital Marketing Specialist to strengthen our digital presence and drive measurable engagement through search. You will shape and optimize the brand across organic and paid search, AI-powered search, and content experiences to connect audience needs with business objectives.

The role demands a solid foundation in SEO/SEM, GA4, and analytics, plus the ability to translate insights into practical marketing recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or related field.
• Proven experience in SEO, SEM/PPC, and digital marketing.
• Hands-on experience with paid search platforms, particularly Google Ads.
• Strong knowledge of SEO including technical SEO, keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimization.
• Working knowledge of AI search, generative search, and GEO/AI Search Optimization.
• Experience using search insights to guide content, campaigns, and advertising messaging.
• Experience with GA4 and Google Search Console.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and project-management skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and building scalable search approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify keyword targets, topics, search intent, and content strategies across audiences.
• Guide web content, landing pages, campaigns, and digital messaging.
• Provide recommendations on structure, metadata, and on-page SEO.
• Identify technical SEO opportunities and establish scalable best practices.
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, engagement, and conversions; optimize performance.
• Build and optimize paid search programs across platforms like Google Ads.
• Drive keyword strategy, audience targeting, campaign structure, messaging, and landing-page alignment.
• Collaborate with content, creative, product, and web teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Use analytics tools to measure performance and develop actionable dashboards.
