Job summary

Zealous are seeking an experienced SEO and AI Search Manager in Leeds to lead AI-driven visibility initiatives across major search and AI platforms. You will shape technical SEO, manage migrations, and drive CRO while mentoring a growing team of SEO and social media specialists.

You will collaborate with developers on WordPress, Shopify and custom sites to boost speed, security and overall performance, and you will present insights at events and webinars to share best practices and future

Qualifications

• Senior SEO/AI search experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience guiding AI-enabled visibility across major platforms and clients.
• Proven ability to manage migrations and improve organic performance.

Responsibilities

Zealous are working with an industry leading agency in Leeds to find a new SEO and AI Search Manager to delive the following:

• Lead AI search optimisation (AEO/GEO) strategies, ensuring clients are visible and accurately cited in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, GoogleAI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity.
• Develop AI visibility tracking and reporting, measuring brand mentions and citations across LLM platforms alongside traditional organic KPIs.
• Present and speak at industry events and webinars on SEO and AI search, sharing insights on AEO/GEO and the futureof organic visibility.
• Lead technical SEO strategies for all of our clients, with a focus on improving site structure, indexing, page speed, and overall performance to improve organic visibility.
• Manage large scale website migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and successfully improving organic performance after migration.
• Implement structured data strategies to improve SERP visibility, increase rich results, and boost click through rates.
• Drive conversion rate optimisation (CRO) efforts using A/B testing and user behaviour insights to increase engagement and conversions.
• Manage and mentored a team of SEO Executives and Social Media Executives, ensuring strong collaboration and professional development.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve performance on WordPress, Shopify and custom sites, focusing on speed, security, and SEO best practices.
• Deliver SEO and AI search training to clients and internal teams, aligned with industry best practices and growth objectives.
• Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis, and strategic planning, providing actionable recommendations for organic growth.
• Create content strategies aligned with SEO goals and user intent, briefing content teams on best practices and keyword targeting.
• Brief and collaborate with Digital PR teams to secure high-quality backlinks and enhance brand visibility through media outreach and press coverage.
