Cowes Enterprise College, An Ormiston Academy is seeking a dedicated SENCo to lead inclusion and SEND, ensuring every student with additional needs is known, understood and supported to flourish within a high-challenge, inclusive environment.

You will coordinate provision, guide staff on graduated approaches, and act as a trusted contact for families, the LA and external agencies, working closely with the Academy's leadership and Trust to raise achievement for all students.

Qualificações

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree are required.
• Experience leading SEN/ SEND provision and teams.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate SEN/ SEND provision for students with additional needs.
• Lead staff training and support for colleagues.
• Serve as point of contact for parents, carers, LA and external agencies.
• Shape SEND policy with Principal, Vice-Principal and Trust to improve outcomes.
