Job summary

Orchard Park High School in Greater London is seeking a dedicated SENDCo to lead and develop our SEND provision, ensuring students with additional needs receive the support required to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The role focuses on coordinating provision, managing EHCPs, tracking progress and working with families, staff and external agencies to raise achievement and promote inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision and EHCP processes.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills with staff, families and external agencies.
• Experience in curriculum development and improving outcomes for students with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop SEND provision and oversee EHCP processes and funding.
• Coordinate robust tracking and assessment to raise achievement of pupils with SEN.
• Attend Annual Review meetings and communicate progress with parents.
• Maintain up-to-date SEN register and provide staff training on SEND needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to remove barriers to learning and promote inclusion.

Good Honours Degree/Post Graduate Qualification
