Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated SENCO for a long-term post in a mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Haringey, starting ASAP.

You will lead and coordinate SEND provision, oversee EHCPs, monitor progress, and work with staff, parents and external professionals to secure strong outcomes for students with additional needs.

NASENCO qualification or working towards it is essential; previous SEND leadership experience in a secondary school is desirable.

Qualifications

• NASENCO qualification required or candidate working towards it.
• Previous experience in a SEND leadership or coordination role in a secondary school is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a detailed understanding of SEND are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school.
• Oversee Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff, parents and external professionals to implement effective strategies.
• Support development of inclusive classroom practice across the school.
