Elementa Support Services Ltd is recruiting dedicated SENCOs to join our network of schools and SEND settings in Bristol. As SENCO you will lead SEND provision, coordinate with senior leaders, teachers, parents and external professionals to improve outcomes for children with SEND.

We welcome applicants with QTS and NASENCO, or those working towards the qualification, plus experience across mainstream and SEND settings.

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and NASENCO, or are currently working towards the qualification.
Experience working as a SENCO or within a SEN leadership role.
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCP processes, annual reviews and statutory requirements.
Experience supporting students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties and complex needs.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school or setting.
Oversee identification, assessment and support of students with additional needs.
Manage EHCP processes, annual reviews and statutory requirements.
Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND provision.
Collaborate with teaching and support staff to develop strategies and interventions.
Provide advice, guidance and training to staff to strengthen inclusive practice.
Liaise with parents/carers and external agencies and local authorities.
Maintain SEND records and ensure documentation is completed.
Support implementation and review of individual support plans.
