Job summary

Elementa Support Services Ltd is seeking dedicated SENCOs to lead SEND provision across a range of educational settings in Gloucestershire. Roles can be full-time or part-time, with pay aligned to MPS + UPS on scale. Start ASAP.

You will work with senior leaders, teachers and external professionals to coordinate high-quality SEND support, ensure compliance, and promote inclusive practice for children and young people with SEND.

Qualifications

• QTS and NASENCO (or working towards) required.
• Experience as SENCO or in SEN leadership roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice, EHCP processes, annual reviews and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the setting.
• Oversee identification, assessment and support for students with additional needs.
• Manage EHCP processes, annual reviews and statutory requirements.
• Monitor progress and evaluate SEND provision effectiveness.
• Collaborate with staff to develop strategies and interventions.
• Provide staff training to strengthen inclusive practice.
• Engage with parents/carers and external agencies.
