Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SENCo in Salford to lead inclusive practice across the school. You will oversee the SEN policy, coordinate assessment and EHCP planning, and collaborate with staff, families and external agencies to meet pupil needs.

The role requires strategic policy development, operational management of the SEN register and budget, and staff training to deliver high-quality SEND provision. QTS and NASENCO progression welcomed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND.
• Experience leading SEND provision and working with EHCPs is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication with staff, families and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of SEND policy and school improvement.
• Manage SEN register and statutory duties; allocate SEN budgets.
• Collaborate with therapies, health and external agencies.
• Track pupil progress; prepare EHCP reviews and reports.
• Train staff in inclusive teaching and SEND, pastoral support.
