Job summary

ssr-ct is seeking a Global Switch Security Service Engineer to deliver maintenance and fault-finding for CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, and Intruder systems. You will work on PC/Network based and analogue platforms, including fibre optics and LAN/WAN concepts.

The role requires NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude to training and development.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent proven experience.
• Knowledge of Access control / CCTV / Intercom / Intruder systems.
• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of digital electronics principles and network basics (TCP/IP).
• Health and Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide fault finding and repair across PC/Network based and analogue security systems.
• Work with CCTV operating systems on small to large multi-site installations.
• Handle Access Control, Intruder, Intercom systems across multiple sites.
• Liaise with higher grade engineers and provide emergency solutions when needed.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training and self-learning.
