Job summary

Arup seeks a Senior Security Consultant to lead Security Risk Assessment and management within its Security Advisory practice in the UKIMEA region. You will work with clients across sectors to identify risks, define scopes, and deliver solutions, while shaping methodologies and offerings in collaboration with leadership.

The role emphasizes technical excellence, commercial oversight, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with opportunities to influence strategic direction and grow client

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a relevant security profession within the last five years.
• Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to security.
• Membership in a relevant professional body or CSyP/RSES registration is desirable.
• Experience in professional services consultancy or client-facing roles.
• Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to all levels; strong report-writing and presentation skills.
• Experience managing projects and teams with financial oversight and delivery.
• Willingness to obtain UK SC Clearance; visa sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic direction for the Security Advisory service offering.
• Work directly with clients across the UK and occasionally Europe to define risk appetite and security risks.
• Manage project delivery within the Security Advisory team and wider practice, including commercial oversight.
• Develop a pipeline of fee-earning work and contribute to project and commercial management.
• Develop internal tools, methods and service offerings aligned to market needs.
