Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to lead on Security Risk Assessment and risk management strategy within the Security Advisory practice in the UKIMEA region. You will work directly with clients, define project scopes and deliver secure, resilient solutions across sectors including transport and infrastructure.

The role combines technical leadership with commercial oversight, developing new service offerings and guiding junior staff in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant security profession within the last five years.
• Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to security.
• Membership in a relevant professional body or CSyP/RSES certification is preferred.
• Experience in professional services consultancy or client/site facing roles.
• Ability to convey complex security concepts clearly; strong report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Security Risk Assessment and management on projects.
• Direct client engagement to define project scopes and delivery.
• Develop internal tools, methods and service offerings to meet market needs.
• Manage project delivery within the Security Advisory team and wider practice.
• Contribute to pipeline of fee-earning work and commercial management.
