Job summary

Get Staff in the North West is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our established technical team. You will service, maintain, fault-find and repair a range of security systems, taking ownership of issues and delivering a professional customer experience.

The role covers small works and modifications, with standby on a 1-in-5 rota. You should be confident working independently, organising your workload, and communicating clearly with customers while ensuring systems are left fully

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with security systems.
• Strong fault-finding and technical abilities.
• Basic fire alarm experience is required.
• A relevant vocational qualification or manufacturer training would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair works across a range of security systems.
• Complete small works and modifications, ensuring systems are left fully operational and compliant.
• Attend reactive callouts when required as part of a 1-in-5 standby rota.
• Complete service documentation, reports and relevant paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Build strong customer relationships while managing expectations and delivering a high standard of workmanship.
