Optimum Fire and Security Ltd is looking for an experienced Service / Small Works Engineer to service, fault-find, repair, and carry out small works across fire and electronic security systems in commercial and industrial sites across the UK. You will maintain system performance, perform remedial works, and provide a professional customer-focused service.

You will work with fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms, completing reports and ensuring compliance with

Competenze

• Proven experience servicing and fault-finding fire and security systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.
• Experience working to latest British Standards.
• Good fault-diagnosis and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Service, maintain, and fault-find fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Carry out small works installations, modifications, and upgrades.
• Diagnose and rectify system faults efficiently and compliantly.
• Work on systems including fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
• Complete service reports, test records, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding faults, remedial works, and system performance.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant British Standards and company procedures.
• Adhere to health & safety requirements and site-specific RAMS.
• Participate in on-call rota where applicable.
