Job summary

Sopra Steria in Gloucestershire seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for Messaging Solutions to own the design, implementation and evolution of secure messaging platforms supporting national security operations. Qualifications

Extensive experience designing and implementing Exchange On-Premises in enterprise or regulated environments.
Experience delivering secure messaging platforms and collaboration solutions.
Proven ability to design messaging architectures and standards.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design and implementation of secure messaging across mission-critical environments.
Act as technical authority for Microsoft Exchange On-Premises and related messaging technologies.
Define technical strategy and roadmaps for messaging capabilities.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for messaging issues.
Lead technical delivery across projects ensuring secure, scalable, and governed solutions.
Drive resilience, cost optimisation and continuous improvement of messaging platforms.
