Job summary

Red Recruit is seeking an experienced Sea Freight Export & Import Freight Forwarding expert in Felixstowe. The role covers coordinating Imports and Exports end-to-end, liaising with customers, overseas agents and hauliers to ensure seamless cargo movement globally.

Key responsibilities include managing client accounts, handling complex documentation, negotiating rates, advising on Incoterms and compliance, preparing quotations, and resolving shipment issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
• Deep industry knowledge with strong commercial awareness.
• Proficient communicator, in person and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Managing key client accounts.
• Overseeing complex documentation and customs processes.
• Negotiating rates and service agreements.
• Providing guidance on Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
• Preparing quotations and analysing margins.
• Handling shipment exceptions and resolving delays.
