Job summary

Red Recruit is assisting a leading global logistics provider to hire a Seafreight Import/Export Operator in Dartford. The role involves managing imports and exports end-to-end and coordinating shipments.

You will handle airline bookings, liaise with overseas agents, prepare customs documentation, and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure on-time delivery. 3+ years' freight operations experience with eCargo, Gama Suite or CargoWise is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in freight operations.
• Good operational know-how of import and export procedures.
• Experience with eCargo, Gama Suite, and/or CargoWise would be advantageous; customs entry experience is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate worldwide multimodal imports and exports with end to end responsibility.
• Arrange shipments and liaise with overseas agents and customers until delivery.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality service.
• Submit import and export documentation.
• Liaise with supply chain colleagues and handle quotations, pricing and invoicing.
