Job summary

Evotec is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist (Expression) to join the Protein Sciences Team at Alderley Park. The role focuses on designing and executing work plans for early drug discovery, delivering high-quality recombinant proteins using insect-cell systems, and providing data-driven recommendations to advance programs.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of recombinant protein expression and protein biochemistry.
• Experience with insect cell expression systems (BEVS) and Drosophila S2 cells.
• Design, clone and optimise expression constructs for recombinant proteins in insect cells.
• Generate, amplify and characterise recombinant baculoviruses.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute work plans for early drug discovery projects.
• Provide oversight of results to ensure quality to project specifications.
• Lead experimental design and data analysis for product release.
