GSK is seeking a Senior Scientist at its Ware Pilot-Plant to advance development and clinical trial material manufacturing for oral solid dose and related processes. You will validate and implement scalable manufacturing approaches in a GMP setting, ensuring high quality for early-phase assets and timely transfer to GSC.

In this role you will lead end-to-end manufacturing activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with SOPs and COSHH.

Competenze

• Relevant manufacturing/production experience in a regulated industry, with willingness to learn about process development and validation in an R&D environment.
• Knowledge of GMP principles and quality standards.
• Good numeracy and literacy (GCSE Maths & English or equivalent).
• Basic computer literacy.

Mansioni

• Manufactures products in compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Set up, clean, inspect, and perform Cleaning Verification and validation inspection of equipment.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing process, including facilities, materials, in-process checks, and batch documentation.
• Provide technical input for manufacture of supplies for Clinical Trials and investigational purposes.
• Ensure training on equipment and procedures is completed and recorded for SOP compliance.
• Prepare batch records and coordinate with Team Leader and QA for batch release timings.
• Oversee contract manufacturing where required and assist technology transfer to GSC.
• Support deviations or audits within SOP timelines and guidance.
• Identify process improvements for cost savings and knowledge value.
• Lead new equipment introduction and validation, drafting SOPs and risk assessments.
• Own designated manufacturing areas for 5S and audit-ready GMP environment.
• Drive Continuous Improvement activities and After Action Reviews to embed learnings.
