Job summary

Revvity's Bioprocessing R&D team is seeking a Senior Scientist to execute gene editing projects in mammalian bioproduction cell lines for client work, designing KO and KI strategies and contributing to expressing cell line development.

This hands-on, lab-based role requires independence, rigorous experimental design, and clear communication within project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data and recombinant lines.

Qualifications

• MSc with PhD or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biochemical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on expertise in gene editing with KO and KI in mammalian cell lines.
• Strong molecular biology skills including cloning (Gibson/Golden Gate), PCR, qPCR, ddPCR.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute gene editing strategies for KO and KI in mammalian bioproduction cell lines.
• Independently manage assigned project workstreams and communicate with internal teams.
• Analyse and interpret experimental data, drawing conclusions and proposing next steps.
• Maintain accurate lab records and SOPs.
