Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Scientist II to apply scientific principles to product development and validation activities at our Wimborne site. The role involves planning, executing, and analyzing lab experiments focused on cell- and assay-based technologies, with experience in CHO, HEK, and iPSC cells.

The candidate will collaborate with Production, Quality, Technical Support, and Marketing teams, communicate with stakeholders, and mentor junior scientists in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in biology or related field.
• Typically requires 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Experience with Cell Culture (CHO, HEK) and Stem Cells.
• Experience in Assay development.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, laboratory statistical programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and conduct experiments to develop new applications or improve existing ones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Support testing of instruments and generate validation data and reports.
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow SOPs with detailed documentation.
• Lead preparation of reports and presentations to communicate findings.
