Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is supporting a housing provider in Leicester to recruit an experienced Scheme Manager for a Leicester-based sheltered housing scheme. The role focuses on day-to-day operations and practical resident support.

You will work independently, engage with residents (Gujarati/Hindi desirable), coordinate repairs, manage records and provide cover at other schemes as needed. Short-term contract and DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people, ideally in sheltered or supported housing.
• Ability to communicate in Gujarati or Hindi is highly desirable.
• Organised, patient and able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for residents and respond to day-to-day enquiries.
• Assist residents with telephone calls, appointments, correspondence and general enquiries.
