Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking a Test Manager to lead end-to-end SATCOM testing across Ground Segments, Ground stations, Modems and Terminals for government and military customers. You will drive test strategies, mentor engineers, and ensure TCQ delivery from R&D through acceptance.

The role emphasizes customer-centric testing, collaboration across bids, and ongoing process improvement with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end SATCOM projects (Ground Segments, Stations, Modems, Terminals).
• Proven ability to lead testing across R&D to acceptance phases in bids.
• Strong focus on delivering TCQ (Time, Cost, Quality) for projects.

Responsibilities

• Join project teams from R&D to acceptance, including customer sites.
• Champion customer requirements and testing teams to ensure on-time, within-budget, high-quality delivery.
• Manage production of test and verification, and V&V strategies/plans.
• Train other engineers on rigorous testing to meet project requirements.
• Improve testing processes by applying lessons learned and feedback.
