Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking a proactive Team Leader to guide a 10–15-person team of Electrical Engineers, RF Test Systems Engineers and Test Operations Support Engineers working on satellite programmes for commercial, government and military clients. You will partner with the Technical Lead to close knowledge gaps and drive delivery with safety and quality in mind.

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven ability to develop and support team members.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide a stable and consistent environment for the Production team to meet commitments.
• Review production processes and identify opportunities to optimise and improve.
• Assess and understand the skill levels and experience of team members.
• Manage and allocate payload test assets, maintenance and calibration planning.
• Contribute to a major production facilities upgrade and advocate for team needs.
• Maintain Electrical Engineering awareness within a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrate delivery on Quality, Time and Cost objectives.
