Job summary

Unipart is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Consultant to lead end-to-end data migration on complex SAP transformations, cleansing, mapping, and migrating legacy data while preserving data integrity and business continuity.

You will own the migration strategy, use SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and ETL tools, work with business and IT teams, and ensure smooth cutover and post-go-live validation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP data migration experience on SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Expertise with Migration Cockpit/LTMC/LTMOM and ETL tools.
• Strong knowledge of SAP data objects (BP, Material, FI-CO, Asset Mgmt).
• Advanced SQL, data governance, and data models (ACDOCA).
• Experience migrating data from SAP ECC, Oracle, Salesforce, legacy systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/ BIS or equivalent.
• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA or equivalent preferred.

• Design, build, and oversee end-to-end data migration solutions using SAP tools.
• Drive data profiling, cleansing, and validation with legacy owners and leads.

About the Role

As Senior SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Consultant you will be responsible for leading the design, execution, and delivery of end-to-end data migration strategies for complex enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. You’ll bridge the gap between functional business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring legacy data is cleansed, mapped, transformed, and seamlessly migrated into the S/4HANA environment with zero compromise on data integrity, governance, or business continuity.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

• Lead and define the overall S/4HANA data migration strategy, scope, roadmap, governance framework, and cutover execution plans.
• Design, build, and oversee end-to-end data migration solutions using standard SAP tools (e.g., SAP Migration Cockpit / LTMC, SAP Data Services / BODS, Syniti ADM).
• Drive data profiling, data cleansing, and validation routines in collaboration with legacy system owners and functional leads.
• Define and maintain source-to-target field mapping specifications, business rules, value mapping, and data enrichment logic.
• Plan, execute, and monitor multiple mock migration cycles, identifying bottlenecks, resolving error logs, and refining performance.
• Lead data migration cutover activities during go-live, ensuring hypercare support and post-go-live data validation and reconciliation.

About You

We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!

• Hands-on SAP data migration experience, with a proven track record of delivering at least 2–3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions in a senior or lead capacity.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit (Migration Cockpit / LTMC / LTMOM) and hands-on proficiency with ETL tools such as SAP BODS, Syniti ADM, or SAP Information Steward.
• Strong knowledge of key SAP functional areas and master/transactional data objects (Business Partner, Material Master, FI-CO balances, Asset Management, etc.).
• Advanced SQL scripting skills, database management expertise, and deep understanding of S/4HANA unified data models (Universal Journal / ACDOCA, BP Model).
• Experience migrating data from diverse legacy systems (SAP ECC, Oracle, Salesforce, legacy mainframe/ERP systems).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or equivalent.
• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA, or relevant SAP Data Migration certifications preferred.
