Job summary

LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design and implement Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Lightning Web Components and complex integrations. You will work with product teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs, while ensuring security and best practices.

The role requires collaboration with architects, administrators and stakeholders, and occasional out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Salesforce Certifications such as Platform Developer I/II.
• Familiar with declarative tools: Validation Rules, Process Builder, Flows.
• Proficient with Apex, Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with internal/third-party systems.
• Financial Services experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and time management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow and APIs.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with focus on usability and maintainability.
• Apply Salesforce security best practices including sharing, permissions and LWC security.
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes.
• Improve deployment pipelines, release practices and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, admins and product owners.
• Adhere to Information Security Policies.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and platform APIs.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems.
• Work with product team to translate business requirements into technical designs, balancing usability, maintainability and platform limits.
• Apply Salesforce security best practices, including sharing, permissions and Lightning Web Security.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify their root causes.
• Improve deployment pipelines, release practices and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, administrators, product owners and other stakeholders.
• Adhere to all Information Security Policies
• Completing other duties as directed
• The nature of the role requires some work outside of normal business hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Requirements

Key Skills and Competency Requirements:

• Salesforce Certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II)
• Familiar with the declarative development tools of Salesforce, such as Validation Rules, Process Builders and Flows
• Familiar with the coding development tools of Salesforce, such as Apex, Aura and LWC
• Experience of working with Salesforce Integrations – including Salesforce’s own tool set and working with other platforms and their developers in enabling integrations to Salesforce
• Financial Services Experience
• Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication, and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience:

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, ideally in Financial Services
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD and Test Automation
• Experience using JIRA
