Job summary

LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our London-based technology team. You will design and build Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow and platform APIs, and collaborate with product owners on complex integrations.

You will ensure security, scalability and maintainability of deployments, mentor engineers, and work across time zones as needed. A background in Financial Services is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Salesforce experience in a financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, Flow and platform APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and security best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile methods and JIRA.

Responsibilities

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and platform APIs.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems.
• Work with product team to translate business requirements into technical designs, balancing usability, maintainability and platform limits.
• Apply Salesforce security best practices, including sharing, permissions and Lightning Web Security.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify their root causes.
• Improve deployment pipelines, release practices and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, administrators, product owners and other stakeholders.
• Adhere to all Information Security Policies Completing other duties as directed
• The nature of the role requires some work outside of normal business hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Requirements Key Skills and Competency Requirements

• Salesforce Certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II)
• Familiar with the declarative development tools of Salesforce, such as Validation Rules, Process Builders and Flows
• Familiar with the coding development tools of Salesforce, such as Apex, Aura and LWC
• Experience of working with Salesforce Integrations – including Salesforce’s own tool set and working with other platforms and their developers in enabling integrations to Salesforce
• Financial Services Experience
• Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication, and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, ideally in Financial Services Experience using JIRA
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD and Test Automation
