This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a difference in the global employment space as the Senior Sales Training Manager within our RevOps function on the Sales Enablement team. As we expand our Sales organization, we are investing in our Sales team and their growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive Sales Training program.
The Senior Sales Training Manager will lead training initiatives aimed at enhancing our sales team's performance. Responsibilities include mentoring new sales staff, creating personalized and team-based training programs, and developing educational resources. Expertise in sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees at various levels will be crucial in fostering growth and achieving targets.
What you bring:
- Substantial experience in Sales Coaching and training in a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven success in a quota-carrying sales role
- Experience implementing sales training, methodologies, and frameworks
- Ability to analyze metrics and develop enablement and training programs
- Experience with sales coaching tools such as Gong, Clari Co-Pilot, Mindtickle
- Track record of building sales training programs that improve sales standards, performance, and revenue
- Experience delivering sales training across global regions and adapting to country-specific requirements
- Proven ability to onboard sales reps at scale in remote or virtual settings
- Experience creating onboarding and ongoing sales training programs
- Knowledge of the 70/20/10 learning methodology
- Experience delivering Train the Trainer models to sales managers and leaders
- Ability to develop eLearning modules and SCORM files using Articulate
- Strategic thinking and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with agile principles and results-driven, innovative approaches
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Remote work experience is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in various sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC, Sandler, Revenue Storm, etc.
- Experience in large-scale sales upskilling and coaching initiatives
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and best practices
- Ability to conduct remote coaching and training sessions
- Experience with role-playing activities and e-learning platforms
- Skills in creating presentations, videos, or slides for training
- Proficiency in developing content for sales workshops and seminars, both in-person and remote
- Professional certification in sales training (e.g., Revenue Storm Facilitator/Coach) is advantageous
- Ability to develop lasting internal and external customer relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver sales skills training programs across all sales functions, from SDRs to sales leaders.
- Support the transformation to an active learning culture within the organization.
- Develop scalable and effective sales training programs with minimal disruption to sales activities.
- Create and implement a Train the Trainer model for sales managers.
- Collaborate to develop, design, and deliver the Remote sales methodology.
- Measure engagement, development, and progress of sales teams enrolled in training.
- Partner with enablement and operations teams to develop role-specific blueprints.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Equip sales managers and leaders with coaching skills to enhance team performance.
- Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for new sales staff.
- Identify and address training needs at all levels, including reps, managers, and leaders.
- Create educational materials such as presentations, scripts, playbooks, and case studies.
- Design training courses incorporating gamification, role-playing, and simulations.
- Gather feedback to improve training programs.
- Work with sales leaders to identify and close skills gaps.
- Maintain records of training curricula and materials.
- Evaluate employee performance post-training.
- Monitor training program costs and provide budget estimates.
- Ensure sales staff meet standards and certification requirements.

Compensation Philosophy:
Remote's approach ensures fair, unbiased compensation and competitive benefits worldwide. Salary ranges are geo-based, reflecting local market conditions, with a base salary for this role between $50,000 and $160,000 USD, depending on various factors. We support internal mobility and pay equity.
