Key job responsibilities
  • Adapt is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our European team - This is a permanent position.
  • This role will be highly agile and fungible, owning deliverables across multiple teams. It will focus on priority assignments designed to drive incremental revenue across various business units.
  • The role involves travel within the UK and across EU5, supporting our ads businesses. Travel is expected up to 50% of the time.
  • Provide seamless sales support, ensuring continuity and effectiveness in sales operations, while driving revenue across Amazon Ads.
  • Generate advertising revenue via ad agencies and direct advertisers, through objective-led selling across Streaming TV and other brand-building solutions.
  • Be a proactive hunter, uncovering opportunities and connecting them with value-adding solutions.
  • Influence buying decisions to increase revenue from existing advertisers and develop new revenue streams.
  • Establish credible relationships with agencies and advertiser decision-makers, especially in the TV and Digital landscape.
About the team

Amazon Adapt offers coverage solutions for business gaps caused by extended leave or unexpected account transitions. It deploys highly skilled, agile talent to ensure continuous investment in partnerships with Amazon Advertising, maintaining high standards of customer service, strategic partnership, and revenue attainment during coverage gaps.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience building client and agency relationships.
  • Experience closing sales and generating revenue.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
  • Business fluency in at least two languages, including English and Italian or French or Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Proven success in negotiation and relationship management.
  • Experience with TV/STV/Video ad sales or agency knowledge of digital marketplaces and video landscape.
  • Experience in fast-paced, technology-driven sales environments.
