Responsibilities
- Identify customer segments suitable for Fluence’s energy storage solutions and understand their needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including regional travel as needed.
- Provide technical and commercial support during sales, becoming a subject matter expert on Fluence’s offerings.
- Lead and collaborate with the Deal Team to develop compelling offers and negotiate transactions.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales targets, utilizing CRM tools like Salesforce for pipeline management.
- Gather competitive intelligence and feedback to improve offerings.
- Develop tools to support sales efforts and efficiency.
- Collaborate on policy, regulatory, and market opportunities with relevant teams.
- Represent Fluence at industry events.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years in sales or technical roles within power generation or energy storage.
- Proven success in building sales pipelines and closing contracts.
- Experience with battery energy storage systems from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Strong stakeholder relationships in the energy storage sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce and PowerBI experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and commercial skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and mentor colleagues.
