Senior Sales Executive

Location: You will be based between our office in Chelmsford (CM2 5LB) visiting client sites in and around London.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on level of experience.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

Senior Sales Executive - About the role:

The Sales person we need will be in the thick of it, working closely with our team to bring together all key stakeholders and progress opportunities to the final stages to confirm the ‘sale'. This isn't about quick wins, quote today and win the order tomorrow, it's about successfully building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, to progress high value deals in a long-term sales cycle environment. Operating within the construction market, you will need to be familiar with a complex, multi-stakeholder decision making process and have some experience of that.

Having the ability to ask the right questions in the right way, to truly understand the clients pain points, you'll need to be driven by a desire to sniff out the opportunity and hunger for the order. Your ability to strategically plan and present proposals, in a well thought through, methodical way, whilst demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills to build great relationships, are fundamental traits you'll need to close deals. Operating in a high energy, fast paced environment, being a reliable, trustworthy hard worker is essential for you to fit in at our company.

• A proven track record in consultative, long-cycle sales (construction, facades, or similar industries preferred).
• Great relationship builder and networker. Able to relate to all stakeholders both internally and externally, irrespective of hierarchy, with the ability to hold board level conversations.
• A strategic thinker who can navigate and influence complex decision-making processes.
• Identifying and engaging key decision makers early in the project life cycle.
• The ability to strategically nurture and convert high-value deals with leading industry players.
• A natural relationship builder who can challenge, influence, and add value to clients.
• Someone who thrives in the field but is happy to collaborate at our Head Office when needed.
• Someone who is committed to achieving and exceeding ambitious targets and KPIs.
• A collaborative team player who embodies honesty, trust and passion for their work.
• An individual who is motivated by long-term success rather than short-term gains.
