Job summary

Jewson in Truro is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Advisor to join our busy branch. You’ll build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and deliver proactive advice and solutions to ensure the best experience.

With a track record of sales success and knowledge of construction materials, you’ll work face-to-face and over the phone, using our systems to process orders, organise deliveries and keep customers updated throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• Proven background in sales with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
• Experience in construction materials supply is preferred.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and great communication.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services to maximise customer interactions.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Sales Advisor to join our thriving branch, in Truro.

Our Senior Sales Advisor's are an important contributor to the team's shared success and an essential part of our customers positive experience with us.

Hours:

7:00 - 16:30/07:30-17:00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8am-12pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions.


• Develop great relationships with new and existing Customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible.


• Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth


• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven background in Sales with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.


• Previous experience in the construction materials supply industry is preferred.


• Self motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.


• Strong communication and commercial awareness to be able to provide great customer service.


• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
