Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Principal Safety and Reliability Engineering Consultant to lead safety, risk and reliability efforts across complex projects in the UK. You will guide hazard analyses, develop safety cases and RAM plans, and ensure compliance with standards throughout the asset lifecycle.

Based in Manchester, you will mentor junior staff, support bids, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable and resilient assets and systems for varied infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

Significant experience in system safety, reliability or safety assurance on safety-critical projects.
Experience developing safety cases, hazard reports and RAM documentation.
Strong knowledge of safety risk assessment and reliability techniques as applied to rail, energy or process industries.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across safety, reliability and risk assurance activities on complex projects.
Review and QA project outputs including safety cases and RAM documentation.
Chair HAZID/HAZOP workshops and develop hazard records with close-out evidence.
Mentor junior consultants and support bids and work-winning activities.
