Job summary

You will design, develop, and integrate software that connects autonomous platforms with mission payloads and stores management systems, while coordinating with hardware interfaces.

The role requires API/ICD design, low-latency data transport, and collaboration across hardware, vehicle, and payload teams, with up to 50% travel to field environments.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in computer science or engineering.
• 5+ years producing production-grade C++ or Rust software.
• Experience with networking, APIs, and data transport.
• Low-latency networking and hardware interfacing experience.
• Systems-level thinking and cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop networked software interacting with devices and networks.
• Design software interfaces with SMS and payload subsystems.
• Architect APIs/ICDs using HTTP, REST, and gRPC.
• Engineer low-latency data transport over UDP/TCP.
• Write hardware-interfacing software bridging embedded devices and autonomy software.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, vehicle, and payload teams.
• Travel up to 50% to test and deploy systems.
• Contribute across prototyping, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug deployed systems.
