Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ and/or Rust.
• Experience with networking devices, APIs and ICDs.
• Knowledge of UDP/TCP data transport.
• Experience interfacing with hardware and embedded systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to test and deploy.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop networked software that interacts with networking devices and hardware.
• Design and implement software for payload interfaces and SMS integration.
• Architect APIs and ICDs using HTTP, REST, and gRPC.
• Build reliable data transport over UDP and TCP.
• Write hardware interfacing software bridging embedded devices and sensors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software on platforms.
• Travel up to 25–50% to test and deploy in operational environments.
• Contribute across prototyping, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot deployed systems to ensure reliability.
