Job summary

Anduril Industries in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, Omen Payload Integration, to connect autonomous platforms with mission payloads, including SMS and hardware interfaces. You will architect APIs and ICDs, and develop low-latency data transport for vehicle-to-ground communications.

You will work across hardware, systems, vehicle, and payload teams to deploy mission-critical software in demanding environments, with travel up to 50% to support field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing production-grade software in C++ and/or Rust.
• Experience building software that interacts with networking devices, managed networks, and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, robust software that interacts with networking devices and common router/switch hardware.
• Design and implement software interfaces with stores management systems (SMS) and payload subsystems.
• Architect and implement APIs and ICDs using HTTP, REST, and gRPC.
• Build and optimize low-level data transport over UDP and TCP for reliable, low-latency communications.
• Write code interfacing with hardware, embedded devices, sensors, and payload electronics.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, vehicle, and payload teams to integrate software into platforms.
• Travel up to 50% to test, debug, and deploy systems in operational environments.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle: prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment.
• Analyze and resolve issues in deployed systems to ensure reliability.
