Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an RMX Operations Manager to take day-to-day ownership of a growing ready-mix operation across two batching plants in Warwickshire. This senior, hands-on role requires strong operational knowledge of ready-mix concrete, plant performance, people management, and ensuring production standards, dispatch, and service quality.

You will oversee two batching plants, drive continuous improvement, maintain BSI compliance, and report to the business owner.

Qualifications

• Strong ready-mix concrete background.
• Experience in batching plants and plant operations.
• Good understanding of quality standards and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead operational teams.
• Experience with continuous improvement in production.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day operational responsibility across two ready-mix batching plants.
• Manage production performance and plant efficiency.
• Oversee dispatch, deliveries and service quality.
• Lead batchers, drivers and yard staff; manage performance and recruitment.
• Coordinate maintenance, supplier issues and customer complaints.
• Produce operational reports for the business owner.
