Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Concrete Batcher / Ready-Mix Plant Operator in Uxbridge, West London. The role involves controlling production using computerised batching systems and ensuring quality concrete batches are produced to schedule.

Direct batching experience is advantageous but training can be provided. The position offers a permanent PAYE contract with hours Mon-Fri 7:00am–5:00pm and occasional Saturday work 7:00am–2:00pm, with salary £17.00–£22.00 per hour depending on

Qualifications

• Direct ready-mix batching experience preferred but not essential.
• Background in production/plant environments such as ready-mix concrete or aggregates is valuable.
• Training can be provided for batching and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Review scheduled and booked concrete orders.
• Move booked work through production and batching process.
• Operate and monitor computerised batching systems.
• Monitor batches to ensure correct mix and quality.
• Make minor adjustments during production.
• Coordinate production, deliveries and drivers with Shippers.
• Communicate load and production updates with drivers.
• Work with Concrete Technicians to meet quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks on own work.
• Maintain production information and records.
• Take ownership of product quality and consistency.
