Job summary

Amazon Daventry site seeks a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to lead maintenance across a distribution environment. You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive efficiency with SCADA tools while upholding safety standards.

Leading a shift with on-site apprentices and collaborating with engineers, you will implement improvements and share best practices across EU sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics.
• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship in a relevant field.
• Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use SCADA and other tools to maximize equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites.
