Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician in the UK to lead maintenance across a live distribution site. You will oversee preventative and reactive tasks, work with SCADA/CMMS tools, and mentor on-site apprentices while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role involves shift patterns, weekend/night work, and progression into more senior positions within Amazon's RME network across EU sites.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma or applicable UK qualification.
4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in relevant engineering.
Experience with automated conveyors, electrical/electronic principles and PLCs.
Proficient in reading blueprints/schematics and safety standards.
Experience using CMMS for maintenance planning and task logging.

Responsibilities

Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
Use latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites.
