Job summary

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. maintains a wide range of equipment and works to reduce downtime across fulfilment centres.

As an RME Technician you will perform preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be based on-site, work various shifts, and collaborate with senior staff and external contractors to keep machinery running efficiently and safely for customer orders

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Experience as a qualified engineer in maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs in live warehouse settings.
• Utilise tools to maximise equipment effectiveness and uptime.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support on-site apprentices and contribute to continuous improvement.
