You will work within the Alternative Pricing Department, leveraging extensive datasets to enhance models and maintain a leadership stance in UK general insurance pricing.

The role focuses on deep portfolio analysis to drive iterative pricing improvements, exploring multiple angles to propose changes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and Python (Essential)
• Work accurately and independently with little supervision (Essential)
• 3–6 years’ experience in a pricing analyst/manager role (Essential)
• Knowledge of UK motor insurance market (Desirable)
• Nearly/newly qualified actuary (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Challenge the status quo in insurance pricing by developing innovative pricing solutions.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of pricing changes from concept to live deployment.
• Seek out new data opportunities and extract value from them.
• Monitor key metrics to identify trends and drive decisions.
• Support the development of junior analysts within the team.
• Role may grow into line management responsibilities with competence checks.
