The role offers hybrid work, with collaboration across Pricing, Data and Analytics to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

You will partner with underwriting, commercial and product teams, driving pricing improvements and supporting regulatory alignment while advancing your pricing career.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with pricing/modelling experience.
• Good understanding of general insurance pricing principles (segmentation & monitoring).
• Proficiency in analytical tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R, SAS).
• Ability to break down complex problems and present insights clearly.
• Strong stakeholder management and evidence-based influence.
• Curious, proactive and comfortable in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine pricing segmentation to improve loss ratio and trading performance.
• Develop robust monitoring frameworks to track portfolio health and pricing effectiveness.
• Identify optimisation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with underwriting, commercial and data teams to influence decisions.
• Contribute to the evolution of Hastings Direct pricing capability.
