Job summary

Bestway Healthcare UK is seeking a Senior Analyst - Retail to shape how data drives retail performance. You will be the analytics partner for the retail team, turning complex data into actionable insight to improve decisions at scale in a hybrid role based in Manchester.

The ideal candidate brings strong retail analytics, BI expertise (Power BI, Microsoft suite), and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• Strong retail background with understanding of commercial drivers (sales, margin, stock, promotions).
• Experience creating dashboards and insight packs for senior stakeholders using Power BI and Microsoft tools.
• Strong analytical and commercial capability to identify trends, risks, opportunities from multiple data sources.
• Proficient in SQL, Excel and data handling in cloud environments such as Azure or Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior insight partner to key retail stakeholders, translating business questions into analysis that supports commercial decisions.
• Lead the development of dashboards, reports, and visualisations that provide clear, timely, decision-ready insight.
• Use data to identify opportunities, shape recommendations, and influence stakeholders to take action and improve performance.
• Partner with senior leaders across retail, trading, operations, finance, and marketing to align analytics to business priorities.
• Define meaningful KPIs and performance measures to support trading decisions, reviews, and planning.
• Gather and shape data and insight requirements from key stakeholders to ensure an always-on data and insight capability.
