Job summary

Forward Role, a growing retail business, is recruiting a Junior Data Analyst in Manchester. You’ll dive into customer, sales and operational data to uncover trends and turn them into actionable recommendations that drive decisions.

You’ll use SQL and dashboarding tools (Power BI; Tableau is a bonus) to build visuals and tell the story behind the data, with clear communication to stakeholders. This is an early-career role with exposure to senior stakeholders and a defined development path.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL experience in data-driven roles.
• Experience creating dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with data storytelling for stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with curiosity.
• Based in the Northwest; commercial analyst experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer, sales and commercial data to identify trends.
• Produce insights to help teams make better business decisions.
• Turn analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Write SQL queries to extract data.
• Present findings to stakeholders in non-technical terms.
• Continuously improve reporting and decision-making.
