Job summary

FRP Advisory Group is seeking a qualified Manager to deliver restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency solutions. You will lead high-impact engagements, shape strategic outcomes for stressed businesses, and grow client relationships while mentoring junior team members.

As part of the Restructuring team, you will oversee administrations, liquidations, and CVAs, with a focus on practical, commercially-driven solutions and compliance with professional standards in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Degree educated; CII/CPI required; ACA/ACCA advantageous.
• Deep expertise in restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency within a professional services/advisory environment.
• Significant experience in corporate restructuring.
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation & restructuring frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and insolvency case management systems (IPS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of restructuring and insolvency engagements across multiple sectors.
• Provide strategic advice and practical solutions to underperforming or distressed businesses.
• Oversee administrations, liquidations, and CVAs.
• Lead corporate transactions including negotiating terms and sale documentation.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis including cash flow forecasting and recovery planning.
• Develop and implement strategic recovery plans tailored to client needs.
• Advise on financial restructuring, distressed M&A and performance improvement.
• Engage with banks, investors, and legal advisors to deliver integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with legal, finance and operations teams for seamless delivery.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships with lenders and stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and market positioning; mentor juniors.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and internal policies.
• Take lead on high-impact, complex restructurings with cross-functional teams.
