Job summary

FRP Advisory Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Restructuring Advisory team in the UK. You will work across advisory and formal engagements, reviewing cash flow forecasts, options for distressed companies, and supporting administration, liquidation, receivership and CVA cases.

You will liaise with directors, creditors, legal advisors and other FRP teams, contribute to case planning, and help develop junior team members while delivering clear, evidence-based guidance.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• CPI/JIEB advantageous
• Experience on insolvency or restructuring assignments
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures
• Excellent written and report-writing skills
• Proficiency in Excel with strong core maths skills

Responsibilities

• Analyse and present financial information from management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Identify unusual trends or variances and discuss underlying causes.
• Review forecast models and assess assumptions and structure.
• Support portfolio management of insolvency cases including administrations and CVAs.
• Ensure compliance with insolvency legislation and case progression.
• Draft high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
